1 2009 NATIONAL MEETING OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF HISTORY, ATLANTIC-BARRANQUILLA

To mark the twelfth year of foundation of the History Program at the University of the Atlantic and considering the need to contribute to national integration and academic interaction among students from different regions of the country, the organization must commit to an event that meets this expectation. Therefore, the First National Students of History is an initial attempt to create spaces to promote the strengthening of networks that encourage and motivate the dissemination of new knowledge and historical research.

CALL

Atlantic University, through the Dean's office and the Human Sciences Program History, History attracts students from different universities in the country to participate in the First National Students of History to be carried out in Barranquilla, from 3 to 6 November 2009.

The meeting did not have a specific theme, though the research suggested are:

• POLITICAL HISTORY

• SOCIAL HISTORY AND CULTURE

• ECONOMIC HISTORY

• URBAN HISTORY

HISTORY EDUCATION

• NEW historiographical perspective

2 .- Presentation of papers.

Summary, between 120 and 200 words

Texts should be written in paper format, that is, to be read in public. Papers must be up to 12 to 15 pages with margins of 3 cm. The format must be Word or compatible and the Times New Roman 12 and a half spaces.

Entries should present consistency in the management of appointments and notes and should be placed at the end of the paper. Literature will be included as an additional page at the end of the text.
